A Claude Code plugin
Your repo works. Get it off localhost.
Off Localhost takes a finished project the last mile: the domain, the payments, the launch video, and the posts on every platform, from two commands in Claude Code. Dry-run by default. Nothing is bought or posted until you approve it.
Three halves, one flow
Live
Domain, deploy, Stripe, transactional email and DNS through governed MCP tools with a spend cap. This part is quickly becoming free everywhere; we treat it as the on-ramp.
Marketed
Logo reveal, product demo filmed from your running app, a launch film with generated voice and music, social clips in every aspect, OG images and a README GIF. Seven mechanical judges run before you look.
Launched
Per-platform copy validated against each network's hard limits, posted to X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Bluesky and YouTube with the videos attached. Hacker News and Product Hunt are assisted: we stage the post, you press submit.
How it works
/marketing
Onboards your brand from the repo, films the app, renders the whole asset suite, and asks you to approve a storyboard before the expensive renders.
launch init
Scans the product repo and writes launch state into it. Nothing leaves your machine.
launch research and launch copy
Platform research with a seven-day expiry, then drafts that fail validation instead of silently truncating.
launch post --all
A dry run of every post with the videos attached and the media checked against each platform's caps.
launch post --all --live
The same run for real, through an idempotency ledger, with a typed confirmation in the dashboard.
What it does not do
- It does not post to Hacker News or Product Hunt for you. Neither has a public write API. Off Localhost stages the post and opens the page; you press submit.
- Video renders through Remotion, which is free for individuals and teams of three or fewer. Larger teams need a Remotion licence, or can swap the renderer for HyperFrames, which is Apache licensed.
- X charges per post through its API. Direct posting is still worth it, and the cost is yours, not ours.
- It runs on your machine inside Claude Code. There is no hosted version yet. Join the waitlist below if you want one.

- A private support space for license holders

Questions
What do I need installed?
Claude Code, Node 22 or newer, Python 3.10 or newer, and ffmpeg on your system path. Blender, an ElevenLabs key and ComfyUI are optional and each one unlocks a richer asset when present.
Does it spend money without asking?
No. Every purchase and every live post sits behind an approval gate, and the launch command previews by default. Infra purchases run through an MCP server with a spend cap no rule can raise.
Which platforms post through an API?
X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Bluesky, YouTube and Google Search Console. Hacker News and Product Hunt are assisted because they have no public write API.
Is the Founder license a subscription?
No. One payment, lifetime updates to the Pro pack. The engine itself stays MIT and free.
What happens after I pay?
Stripe sends you to a page with the download and the support invite, and the same links arrive by email. The download link keeps working; it checks your payment with Stripe every time.
Can I use it for client work?
Yes. Brands are data, so each client is a JSON file and a logo mark. Remotion's licence applies to your company size, not the number of brands.
